Claims Processing Operations

We provide claims processing services for a large livelihood promotion company which has a wide reach in rural India, spanning over 90 districts and several states. Our client ties up with leading insurance companies like Royal Sundaram, ICICI Lombard and Aviva to sell insurance policies for health, life and livestock bundled with micro-credit products.The claims resulting thereof are processed at SAI SEVA.
The claims made by the policy holders need to be checked for correctness, completeness and verified for possible fraud before they can be forwarded to the respective insurance company for settlement. We receive on a daily basis, claim documents (that comprise of claim forms and supporting documents) from various parts of the country. Policy checks are applied and the critical fields are captured for further processing. Successful claims are then forwarded to the insurance companies for actioning.
Claims processing is a sensitive activity that involves the application of considerable judgement and knowledge. Since each claim involves money, we have to impartially follow the processing policies and ensure that all claims are processed without making any judgemental errors.
